A Unique Perspective

We have a unique perspective and understanding of our community’s needs.  We meet as a community to assess where we are at and where we want to be.  We have the vision and leadership to fill in the gaps with investment and action.  We are stewards of our donors’ gifts, able to fill short-term needs without losing sight of long-term or changing interests that make the Holland/Zeeland area a better place to live.

Fully Accountable

The prudent investment and management of assets is a primary function of the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area’s Board of Directors.  CFHZ is a publicly supported 501(c)(3) organization and Foundation records such as the annual audit, the IRS Form 990, investment policies, managers and fees are available upon request (fees may apply).  An independent public accounting firm, Meyaard, Tolman and Venlet P.C., prepares our financial statement as part of the Foundation’s annual audit.  Interested parties may access the full audit and 990 financial information below or on the Guidestar website.  Guidestar is an organization that gathers and publicizes non-profit organization data to help donors make informed giving decisions.
